Just bought a Microfreak Vocoder Edition.
God knows why, I can't stand vocoder effects but I like the Microfreak. I'll just hafta make sure I never plug the mic in.
Should arrive on wednesday - or so.

There's a lot to learn about this little thing but first impressions are that it's freaking amazing!!!
I'd always shied away from digital synths and their confusing menus but this is simple and intuitive to use.
The little OLED screen helps you understand exactly what you're doing.
Absolutely love this thing.

Decorativeed

I bought one recently after I saw what they'd added in the recent firmware update. Added a few old mellotron samples to it and had instant retro sounds. A shame you can't add more than one sample per patch currently, but it has some great presets already.

They're wonderful bits of kit.  I sold mine because it just didn't get enough use and I regret it now
