Personally I kind of love it, although I think I'd not have stuck the SC at the bridge!

It's awful and I hate it. There, now I feel like the grumpy old man that I am.  A heavy cold doesn't help.

Came out a few years ago, don't think it's even made any more. Seem to be a couple at crazy prices on Reverb. 
I'm liking (not that I'll do anything about it) the idea of a Fender short scale and I like the look of this. Not sure it's my ideal pickup combination. Would be fun to try one.

£699 when new I recall.  They're going for a couple of grand now!

That may contradict whatever I said when there was a thread about this guitar before, but I reserve the right to be inconsistent.

I don’t really like the scratch plate but I think the rest is very pretty. Suits the size and and scale well.

I was wondering what I said last time, might well have been something contradictory. But I was watching some Jim Campilongo where he uses a Duosonic and some Eric Haugen where he uses a Mustang and I’m quite enraptured by these small Fenders. They tend to be a bit Plain Jane so a bit of prettification works well I think.

I would like it, but the pickups are the wrong way round. Humbucker in the bridge, single coil in the neck… don’t they teach these kids anything?

I don’t mind it but the pickguard doesn’t suit it, needs a black one

I’ll give you that, although the Tele bridge is very middy for a single coil and the WRHB isn’t for a humbucker, so it more or less works... not my favourite Tele variant though.

I don’t hate the guitar but I wouldn’t mind if I never hear another Shawn Mendes song in my life
