Hi Everyone,

I want to convert the hardware on a 2009 Gibson Les Paul traditional from chrome to nickel. In doing so I would like to convert it to an abr1 bridge as well. I have been looking at going down the Faber parts route and with some of it being out of stock online I was wondering before I buy a load of new bits and have to wait ages to piece it all together does anyone have any of the following in nickel or aged nickel preferably

TP-59 Vintage Aluminium Tailpiece
ABRH bridge Sorted
iNsert Nashville to abr1 conversation studs
Tonelock tailpiece kit

Cheers

Michael

Ah i completely forgot you stock Faber stuff Jon. Looking at the website the iNsert-mng Nashville to '59 abr1 conversation studs, 7mm/6-32inch in aged nickel is out of stock. Would it be a long wait to be restocked?

Important question - what is the original bridge ?
Is it a Nashville or an ABR-1?

Post spacing is different, so important to qualify that

The Nashville fit Faber (ABRN) still looks like an ABPR but has a wider post hole spacing.
The vintage fit "historic" model (ABRH) won't fit where a Nashville has come off

    Hi Jon,

Its a nashville. I've popped a picture of it in the first post.

Will a ABRH bridge not fit with the
     iNsert-mng Nashville to '59 abr1 conversation studs, 7mm/6-32inch?

This is showing the ABRH and associated parts
Interestingly the tailpiece is called Matt finish but in reality looks like a very light relic as it has a used kind of patina
I think it looks very natural as opposed to one that has gone blotchy

    HI Jon,

Is that the inserts in nickel? I may have to get them and attempt to age them myself.

    Cheers

possibly just need to do the thumbwheels and the very tip of the post as they will be the only bits you see
