Christmas is coming and my wife wants some ideas!

I'm not sure how I missed this one but for some reason it did seem attractive even though I don't really like klons....

I have the green one and it’s the most useable TS I’ve ever had by far. 

I’d wager the Gold is just as good but for klons

Very tempted but concerned my Timmy may be too similar even though they’re two different kinds of pedal.

Got one yesterday and sounds really good but only had limited time with it.
I’m using a couple of 335’s and a P90 les Paul through a 5e3.

You couldn't wait until Christmas then! I have a 335 and a Fender '57 Deluxe. I'm not sure I've tried the Halcyon Gold with that combination yet, but will give it a go myself.

I have all 4 of the Origin Effects Overdrive /Boost guitar pedals and I've enjoyed them all immensely. The Gold is the one on my board at the moment though used as a boost into a lightly driven Revivaldrive. It really sings!

Just tried the pedal to see if I liked it, if not it would have gone back to Anderson’s.

Did you replace your Nordland ODR with the Halcyon Gold?

I bought the Nordland around August from a forum member,
I just couldn’t take to it, I found it didn’t have much warmth and not what I wanted from a pedal.
The Halcyon I find sounds superb through my 5e3 amp and add’s everything I was looking for.
