Same birthday as me (different year). I don't know very much admittedly about Geordie as a person but certainly a distinctive player and I still listen to Killing Joke from time to time. Only 64. Sad news. RIP.

Very sad news. I was lucky enough to see Killing Joke at the 100 club and they still absolutely ripped. Geordie seemed to have an acute ability to come up time after time with killer 'ear worm' guitar riffs. He's was the master of that heavy 'chuga riff' and just found endless ways to still make it exciting and new. RIP to a rare talent.
