Hi There,
Quick hopefully not daft question .l.. Love the tone of the Dirty Shirleys but I had been looking for a Twin Sister. Normally when playing live, I dont channel switch between med gain & crunch during songs - only between occasional songs. If I was to adjust the gain mid set on a single channel Dirty Shirley, would it affect the volume in the mix much ?

Hi @fatcornishlad, not a daft question! It doesn't change the volume much (but might make a bit of a difference at higher volumes). Switching the gain stage does cause a 'bump' sound when doing it. So I normally pop into standby when doing it at volume. Hope that helps.

ok ace thanks - yeah was thinking more of just dialling the gain knob  up / down by a 1/4 turn between songs. Had been watching some vids (Ive only used the Twin Sister) and the SB also sounds ace. I'll have a think. I'm down in Cornwall so would have to plan a road trip. Regards Steve

@fatcornishlad ahh okay, yes the gain knob does have an affect on volume. Yes the SB is awesome as well. Both great amps. Would be keeping both if I could justify it. Let me know when you've had a think, that's quite a trek up!
