Desktop mic stand?

My son has a Focusrite 212, he uses the condenser mic that came with it and gets some pretty decent results with it. He’s at uni so uses it in his room but he’s finding the mic stand he’s using is causing problems because of space. Has anyone used a desktop mic stand with Focusrite?
