Actually, it's intended to help as it lets you identify things that are of interest. This saves people from making offers you'll never accept, or from not making an offer because they've no idea what you're after.

However, if you are not happy to abide by it that's fine, you can just avoid the Classifieds.

How do I know what they have got if they don't make that offer? Its mad not to be able to say " I'm. Open to all trades" because I am.... How do I know that something is of interest if I havnt been offered it?

And the heavy handed mod approach of do this or go isn't really fair either!

Nothing heavy handed. I asked nicely in both listings.

The rules were there before you joined and before you posted.

You are more than welcome to use the Classifieds provided you read and abide by the rules - there is nothing unreasonable about that. eBay and Gumtree have rules too; if you want to use them you follow their rules. The country has laws, which you have to follow. You should be familiar with the paradigm.

Disagreements aside, would quite like this pedal! Got a korg dtr2000 and a bright onion audio mini buffer that I'm looking to move on at the moment if that's of interest for trades/px?

I think what Adolf wrote in his OP is fine, as long as he genuinely is happy with any trade - ie if I were to offer him six frozen peas, he'd be happy with that.

And, indeed, I would like to make that offer - it's a great delay and I don't even like frozen peas!

Perhaps you should read what I said.

You are allowed to trade for whatever the hell you like, however, the rules you signed up to require that you give at least some idea of suitable trades precisely so that people do not offer you peas. No need for the name calling and sarcasm.
