Anything out there of interest?
Good condition and properly set up with a low action would be an advantage. Pickup not a requirement nor worth a premium for me.

If it wasn’t for the imminent expense of Christmas, I would be very tempted myself by the Sigma parlour I saw on Merchant City Music for £325…

As I believe I may have mentioned (!) my Vintage V300MH is very nice, If somewhat basic. Great tone. Reasonable build too.

Hi, looks great, thank you. Does it have a gloss, satin, or unfinished neck (not shown in pics)? I have a bit of an aversion to gloss necks.

If  this sounds half as nice as mine it’s an absolute bargain.It retails over £600 you wouldn’t think it when you play one.(satin neck) hope this helps.

Many thanks for the ideas, offers & suggestions. Grandma in her infinite wisdom has suggested waiting to see what discounts may become available in the January sales so on hold until then. Unless of course the bargain of the century comes along in the mean time

Wise words, although I think you'll struggle to find a solid mahogany model with hardcase for £300 new.

I will look at that myself. Ive bought from Merchant City before and always had good service from them. I bought a Sigma OM which was very nice but too big a body for my liking but that was my problem,not theirs.

After missing out on one parlour guitar and not particularly bonding with any others I tried this came along....

2016 Taylor GS Mini. Spot on budget, superb condition, zero fret wear, nice low action, strung with DR Sunbeams (11-50). Sounds sublime, even with my limited talents, very much an electric players acoustic. Has the added bonus of a uniformly very dark fretboard which I much prefer over the multi shaded boards. New guitar, new teacher, fingers crossed.
