Can I control my FM3 on my PC while plugged into a guitar cab as the OUT signal with a USB into my computer?

Ah just noticed you said guitar cab - this would need a power amp between fm3 and cab as fm3 output is line level not speaker level.

It's all good, I've have a power amp/cab set up for a while but haven't been using the software because I prefer the sound from my cabs to monitors and using the short usb cable from my audio interface involves a whole bunch of moving stuff around.

I was wondering whether it was worth buying a 5m cable so I didn't have to get up and walk to the other end of the room whenever I wanted to change a preset or something and it dawned on me that I could probably use the software & cabs since the OUT1 line would be retained, and had previously thought using the software constrained me to using a DAW with my pc.
