Is the Boss GX-100 worth the extra compared to the ME-90?

I'm not sure, for me...I don't record, prefer not to involve computers. I'd probably just use 4CM since I'm a bit of a luddite...but maybe one day I'll switch over to FRFR / straight to PA. The ME-90 would probably do me ok but I think the lack of drive options (only being able to have one drive on per patch) might be a semi deal-breaker...just not sure the extra flexibility of the GX-100 is worth the cash for me.

I had a flirtation with the Pod Go but I found the lack of available slots (only 4, since the volume pedal, eq, amp and cab can't be replaced and I don't really use them much) a bit limiting. Thinking also about the Valeton GP-200 but I'd rather stick with a big name brand.

I think they're quite different units.

I have a Gx-100 and it sounds excellent. But it doesn't have the immediacy of the ME series,--its a lot more flexible, you can combine more FX, etc, but there's a bit more faff setting it up / tweaking it.

I think it really depends what you want - flexibility or simplicity.
