PDF 1 was launched in 2009, it's kinda based on a Maestro MPF-1 which is probably what JH was using before. I think the overall tone is way more in the collection of crappy amps he favours and witchcraft

PV Decade or an Ampeg VT22 or 40 though is in there I'd have wagered.

But get a PDF 1x or 2 and you'll be tremendously satisfied, think the Q-Boost that Stone Deaf make is also in QOTSA territory. Living Room Gear Demos is obsessed with JH so a watch of some of his vids is recommended.

Yeh he wasn't using it then but it is a good way to get the sound.
