    Oh that's a great shame - he was a brilliant guitar player - I have many albums/CDs with him on, he was a first-call player for many jazz-fusion projects.  He also made some fine solo albums. I remember reading an account of someone visiting his home and there were guitars everywhere.

    That is very sad news.
    He was a brilliant guitarist and will be missed.
    He’s left the world with a great body of work that will be listened to for decades to come.
