Hi all,

This has been sorted following a visit to the very helpful @grBaldwin  ;

As mentioned on a discussion thread, I’m on the lookout for an absolute cannon of an acoustic. Looking for the big bold strumming/bluegrass vibe. Ideal would be 1.75 nut width and a good pickup on board, but I am flexible on that.

I’m in Birmingham and if it’s a more exotic make I’d want to try it out, so no obscure builds if your ages away please

    I’d nip round to guitarguitar and try one of their ad27e whilst they are still on offer, lovely big sound.

    I have a Collings cj45 t which fits the bill or @brucegill has a Preston Thompson dma which also does the job

    I’ve got a Martin D18V with pickup if that’s of any interest.
