What is this effect?

Hello

Can anyone tell me what effect Squire has on his guitar at 3.30 onwards? 

When it comes to modulation I get mixed up!

I hear a flanger plus something doing the stereo, swooshing the signal left and right. That may be a stereo flanger or a separate device, I cannot tell.

Edit: I need to familiarise myself with a univibe!

Sounds like a univibe to me. Fits the hendrixy playing too

I'd say Univibe or Rotary.

Probably is a univibe but it could be any of the much less costly modern replications which do vibe and chorus, which you then add some delay to. The best modern sound-alikes add a bit of a pulsing sound too. One of these will get you there if you are after that sound.

That's definitely either a Leslie (they perhaps used on in the studio) or a rotary simulator, eg. Neo Ventilator, as mentioned above).

Its a leslie/rotary sim plus an autopanner

It’s worth a read I’d say. Nothing hugely revolutionary but still interesting as a Squire geek
