SOLD: BOSS KATANA 50 mk2 Combo
Sold - Marshall 2525c - £520 now £500 (from Nottingham)
Very highly rated and reviewed combo from Marshall - all that 1987 Jubilee goodness packed into a very manageable and compact combo! 20 watts switchable to 5 watts makes it very versatile for home, studio or stage.
This comes in pretty much mint condition - no damage, marks or wear to the tolex - and in perfect working order. Includes the footswitch, power cable and the little Marshall tag.
Boss Katana 50 Mk2 - £170 now £160 (can post)Brilliant little amp, as confirmed by all the rave reviews and popularity. This is the more recent mk.2 version, 50 watts with a 12" speaker, all packaged in a light weight and compact combo format.
Includes a great choice of amp models, a range of instantly accessible effects, which can be altered for different effects using the app - all of this can then be assigned to one of two saved presets or you can operate as a WYSIWYG type arrangement where the controls give you exactly what you see.
I bought this only a month ago from Richtone, but a potential change in set up puts it up for sale. Comes in great condition, fully working, and nothing to mention other than a few light marks to the tolex.
Comments
Although, I am leaning towards keeping the Marshall. Undoubtedly, the Boss is more useful in meeting my needs, more practical, portable and versatile, but there's just something cool about a British built Marshall!
That said, I've bought 3 amps in about 6 weeks so to maintain domestic harmony one does need to go.
I am happy to take guitar related trades for either, nothing in particular (just not amps!) and I can add a bit of cash if you have some thing that really appeals, so tell me what you've got.
