WTB low output PAFs

Hey!

I’m deep in the PAF rabbit hole and looking for a set of pickups with some (or all) of these features:

low output

scooped rather than mid heavy

with covers - ideally vintage correct thin type

non potted

I’m really after the ‘tele on steroids’ thing. I’ve tried wizz and whilst they are awesome, they are still too thick in the mids. Would be open to anything that fits the brief. Curious to try throbak or Ron Ellis if anyone is getting rid of a set of those too.

I would try the Lollar Imperial Low wind as the normal wind was pretty scooped from memory so likely these take that further.

I like the same from Humbuckers, and I went on a big tone quest a couple of years back. The two that I've tried which best fit the bill are a pair of mid-70's Gibson T-Tops. But they're tending to go for way too much for what they are these days. The next closest were a pair of "Fletcher's Pickups" humbuckers which were described as T-top/Super-58 inspired. Really lovely. I've got a pair of actual Ibanez Super-58s that I'm planning to sell, but the actual ones weren't as scooped as the clones, so I wouldn't go debasing myself by trying to hawk them here.
