AC/DC announce huge UK & Ireland stadium shows (planetradio.co.uk)

Well, Angus & Brian anyway. Stevie Young I can accept because he's family and he's depped many times over the years.
Chris Cheney is an odd choice to me. He's quite flamboyant in most bands.

Must be where the recent record sales have been highest... or the highest pay from the organisers.

I can't open that link on my work PC - I'd heard about Chris Chaney, but have they said who's drumming?  Not sure if Phil Rudd is in or out (or shaking it all about) at the moment.

Edit - I see it's Matt Laug on drums.  It's starting to feel a bit "tribute act".

I’d be there either way if I was in the country, but obviously a shame it’s Angus, Brian and session guys.

I guess this is how everything inevitably goes

I saw them last time they played Wembley Stadium (or maybe it was the time before), it's just too big a venue for me.  I'm going to give it a miss.

The last tour (with Axl) they played the London Stadium in Stratford.

Wembley is awful, though.  Even more echoey than the old one was.

Apparently it was 2009 (doesn't time fly?), supported by The Answer and The Subways.
Well I say supported by The Answer and The Subways, I was so far away from the stage it might have been some kids in wigs miming to a tape.

Bon Scott once spilled my beer when walking through the audience with Angus on his shoulders.
These slights cannot just be forgiven lightly. I'll give the Wembley gig a miss on principle.
    That'll show the bastards...

not for me,  saw em with Bonn saw em with Brian early doors,  same as with the Eagles/Steely thing,  for me there's a ceiling when "bands from your yoof"  stop being "attractive" to want to see, and for the punter to appreciate.  Sitting down just aint right, and Im far too old to "get up and rawk"

    right,  where's me horlicks..........................

£165 for Pearl Jam and they are doing loads of shows. I was expecting more than £130

I think that's about twice what it cost in 2009.  Which seemed a lot at the time.  I'm not sure if £130 seems a lot now or not.... I wouldn't have expected it to be any cheaper.
