I need to connect my Boss TAE to my AC30. I’ve got two chuffing great big speaker cables to hook it up with, so I’m all OK there. However, the speakers on the AC30 are just connected to the amp with a simple home brew M-F connector. And I’ve got M-M cables. So I need a F-F adapter to get it connected. Do I need a special heavy duty one or will just a regular one do? The manual warns not to use regular guitar cables when connecting the TAE, which will, they say, “smoke or ignite”. Is there a matching F-F 6.3mm adapter made for carrying such a hefty signal?
What’s really irritating is that the TAE has been in storage for the past year after a house move but I’m pretty sure it was all working fine then. I can’t for the life of me remember how I’d wired it up then though!

It's not cheap, but it's cheaper than a blown output transformer.
