Youtube trend of musicians hearing tracks for the first time....

I'm absolutely down the rabbit hole wasting my work day watching the Drumeo and Scott Teaches Bass videos showing musicians who hear a song for the first time with the relevant track removed, before playing it through with their own part. 

Fascinating stuff.

There's only a few bass ones - but the two I watched today are aces (Sean Hurley does The Pretender for the first time and some sicko Gospel bassist does The Trooper).
