Switching Hotrod deluxe with line 6 hxfx

I'm trying to get a line 6 HXFX to change Chanel on my fender Hotrod deluxe the foot switch cable is just a normal jack to jack 

I can manage to change from clean to drive but the HRD has a more drive switch as well which I would like to work on another switch ...does anyone know iff this is possible...thanks

The switching logic on the Hot Rod Deluxe/Deville pedal uses some kind of voltage impulses so you'll need a special cable like this - http://pedaler.eu/webshop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=39_111&products_id=720&osCsid=3375358904660786f7a284d34d499364

I have one for my MkIV Deville and it's worked seamlessly with every (of many) TRS switching device I've used.

Thanks very much ...did you ever use the HXFX line 6 ? ... AlI I need it to do is witch Chanel and add any FX I need on that Chanel...even iff it's like switching to lead ...maybe a boost and delay together for example

I did have a HXFX once but don’t think I used it with the HRD. It will do exactly what you want via one of those leads though.
