Anyone had experience with a Bogner Palermo/Mojado?

I’m considering a Bogner Palermo I’ve spotted but I’ve not been able to try one in person (guitar shops are thin on the ground round here, especially ones with boutique amps). I’ve had other Bogners before and loved all of them but they were very different to this one…
I know the Palermo is pretty limited in terms of controls but I don’t mind that too much. It’ll mainly be a recording amp too so I don’t need tons of volume for live. 

Has anyone had any experience of this amp? How versatile is the Schizo switch? Can you get a decent range of tones out of it without pedals or is it better as a pedal platform?
