I've decided that I'm a head and cab man and the Brunetti Pleximan in the classifieds is calling me so I've decided to sell this and possibly my PRS MT15 too. Not had it that long but have been pretty impressed and it worked really well in a wet/dry and stereo format with the PRS and 1x12 cab. I acquired a Creamback as an upgrade to the stock V-type but still have the stock speaker so any buyer has the choice of either (or both, I guess).

I probably overpaid for this in hindsight and am expecting to take a bit of a bath on it, but that's my tough shizzle. Let's say £350 £325 with the Creamback or £325 £300 with the stock speaker.  It's up on F'book for a bit more. It will have to be collection or meet within an hour or so from Haywards Heath, West Sussex. I do have the original box, but I'd really rather not risk couriering it.

    Did you find the cream back to be a significant upgrade?

    It certainly did to my ears, but the big caveat with that is that I almost always play at low DBs. I found the v-type nasal and fizzy at low vols but I’d wager that it would have been much better at gig levels. The Creamback would do both (in my humble opinion).

    @noisepolluter  - might have a more educated opinion…

    A few of my cabs have V types in them. Marshall seem to like em and so do I. I think they work well with my JVM, JCM, DSL’s and Amp1 that I own. Quite a good speaker at volume I find. I do like my 40CR too. Have a bump Sir!

    These amps are pure happiness in a box. How is this one still here?

    Ed. As a fellow veteran of the (now legendary) Sasquatch Sessions and in memory of your mighty showing at the hotel breakfast buffet, I would love you to take this off my hands. Ping me if you want to discuss...

    Not a lot is moving quickly in the market at the moment.

    I've had a few trade offers on Facebook and one guy wanting to buy at or near the asking price but then getting snotty when I wasn't available at the time of his choosing to deliver it to him in Bexhill - 80 mins from where I am.

    If you weren't so far away I'd have snapped this up. Midi controlled master volume assignment ftw.

    Thanks for the bump. I've rather been absorbed by a new bass purchase (my first) along with a teeny tiny Hotone bass head (amazing little piece of kit). Oh and chocolate. So much chocolate.

    A bloke on Facebook has indicated that he would like to come down this weekend coming to acquire it (or stab me and kidnap my daughters, obviously). I'm not doing the little sold jig just yet.

    Bumping because Facebook is sooooo full of timewasting knobheads.

    If someone can come to me or meet me within an hour of Haywards Heath, I'll do this for £325 with the creamback or £300 with the stock V-type.

    I bet you would Rod!

    To be clear though the £25 difference is approx the difference I would get if I sold them separately. I'm pretty sure I paid £70-odd for the creamback (don't hold me to that).

    @darthed1981 ; - Ed, mate, we both drive - we both would love time in the car listening to kickin choons, dreaming of rock superstardom, and shirking domestic duties: I'm sure we could make it work  ;)
