I've owned a Chapman that was made at WMI, and was as good as anything I've seen from that factory such as PRS SE. Quite fab guitar, alas I didn't quite get on with the neck carve or I'd still have it.

To be fair, the one I was going to buy was very blue in the same way. However, it was a pretty terrible guitar.

He is - But at the show, every time he did a demo on the stand it was busy - Public waiting at the end of a quite zone for him to do a demo - Like him or loathe him there is certainly a buzz about him 

I don't have any strong feelings about the gentleman.

OK, so I've just spent half an hour playing it against my other guitars - the Jadens, the N4 and the much-cheaper Washburn Parallaxe.

In its current state, it's not even close to any of them. It feels kinda clunky, the action's painfully high and I think it's got 10s on it (which may be the source of a lot of the problems).

I'm gonna tweak and fettle it in the next few days and see where that takes me.
