covering up our dangly bits with guitar related stuff.

I’m not getting my dreadnought out for you lot!!

I did produce a calendarfor a car club a while back, no dangly bits though. Was great way to raise a little money to support the forum and let people show off their cars/pics.

Finally had a chance to really move some air this morning. Did the one thing I shouldn’t have done too; took the outgoing Maybach Lester that belongs now to someone on here and did some back to back playing. 

Nothing very surprising came from that. The necks feel quite similar, which is great and the scale lengths are the same. The LP has a good bit more heft, no surprise there. 

The Amber P90s cover so much territory, from the edge of twang to huge riffs at the bridge and mellow jazziiness to rich leads on the neck. Which makes it a bit of a shame I can’t cover that ground myself. 

The Goldfoils here are lower output and not as angry but have a little more going in the sound. Clean or filthy, they retain rich detail and clarity while still being that gorgeous lo-fi that they should be.

Wow!! I’ll take that. I’ve always thought Castro does but he lives in a beautiful and rarified world of guitars I usually only enjoy gazing at.
