Bought this little beauty from @CountryDave recently as a body and neck only. Both came from GSP and Dave had done a very nice job of finishing with nitro rattlecans. Looks great with the grain showing through the paint job. The body is heavily routed under the guard and has a belly cut and forearm contour, consequently it’s nice and light. I put in a Fender Mex bridge, scratchplate and pickups from a bitsa Tele that I had previously, added some Wilkinson vintage style tuners, oiled the board, waxed the neck and did a set up. Turned out nice I think and has a nice resonant “spraaaaang” to it. I think it’s a keeper.

Ta, it’s actually a bitsa. US Fender body, Fender RI Jap neck, Fender CS pickups. Relic paint job and neck aging was done by Rich Rendall, and a lovely job he made of it (he did the SG too). I’ve had numerous Strats over the years and this is the best of the bunch.

It looks great @boogieman and I like the logo. It reminds me of what I'm going to have made for mine as it looks a little naked at the moment, mine will also be (this is just a mock up) a play on words...

Really like that ... sometimes a bog standard but pretty Tele is a real shot in the arm :-)
