New acoustic guitar day for me, completed a deal last night that saw a guitar I had been after for some time come into my possession, I am now a happy little strummer, a few years old, so opened up nicely, hopefully it can look forward to years of my ham fisted, sausage fingered attempts at being the next Neil Young

Nothing, absolutely nothing, wrong with a nice little Standard Series Martin. They don't come much better than this. It will be a gem.

And that 000 size is probably a lot more comfortable than a a dreadnought( unless you are a 6’5 giant person.

The neck is a handful though.

I made the mistake of weighing down the top of mine with Fishman Rare Earth pickup.  That killed the acoustic sound.  I only figured out that it killed the acoustic sound after I did the same with another guitar later after selling the Martin.
