My favourite guitar I’ve been forced to sell and will sorely miss, but needs must…

A Charis SJ (small jumbo) and likely the closest you can get to an Olson SJ  without paying Olson prices. The guitar has a phenomenal sound/responsiveness for fingerstyle and sounds great played with a plectrum as well. One of the most comfortable necks I’ve played as well. 

Built in 2011 by Bill Wise in Bay City Michigan USA

• Sitka Spruce x a striking fiddleback mahogany B&S
• Indian rosewood binding/purfling
• 25.6” Ebony fretboard 
• 1 3/4” nut 
• Gotoh 510 tuners
• “Ducktail” striped headstock back
• Mahogany-rosewood-maple neck 
• Select abalone rosette 
• K&K Pure mini pickup 

It also comes with a lovely and incredibly plush Cedar Creek case and all original paperwork signed by Bill Wise

Really nice instruments these. I played and photographed a few Charis guitars when I worked at TAMCO in Brighton; they were all excellent.

I can vouch for the fact that this is a phenomenal guitar, responsive, powerful, dynamic and in no way just a fingerstyle guitar, it does everything brilliantly. A total bargain price for this level of instrument. And @razorbill is a great fella to deal with.

Thanks all for the comments! This really is a special guitar. Like CloudNine said, I got it from him and he purchased it from Coda originally
