Fender Classicgear vintage style tuners

Currently got the standard modern ones on my USA pro ii Strat, no problems with them but I generally just prefer slotted post vintage style tuners on fenders.

I do have a spare set of Kluson ones knocking about, but they’d need 10mm bushings and extra holes drilling, whereas the classicgear ones are direct drop-in with no modification.

Anyone used/using the classicgear ones? Are they the same as the Ping ones? I wasn’t a fan of them in the Vintera Strat I had - the spare set of Klusons were originally fitted as replacements until I sold the Vintera and put the stock ones back on, so if there’s a similar quality difference with the classicgear ones I’d be prepared to get the Klusons fitted with the bushings, drilling etc
