WTB 1979 Fender...

Hi all,

Looking to buy a birth year - 1979 - vintage axe. Nothing too fancy or minty, but original case and some tags or similar would be nice. Looking at Strats, as they seem to be most plentiful, but am really more interested in a Mustang, Musicmaster, Bronco...

Please give me shout if you have any of the latter offsets, there's definitely not so many around. Would also consider Japanese offsets (Fernandez etc.) as long as the 1979 is confirmed somewhere on the guitar.

There’s a refin 79 Strat in a shop close to my work in Chichester which I used to own. Has been refinished if that’s an issue, but it’s a lovely nitro relic Olympic white which is now a custardy yellow.

I have this one at the minute which is available. Absolute killer Strat that is really light for a ‘79 @ 7.8lb

i have a good few earlier 70s ones and this one is easily compatible.

1979 hardtail Strat, all original except for the neck pickup (early 90s usa) original middle and bridge are stamped 79. £2100 Cheers
