Won a cheeky bet at the bookies for a nil nil City Arsenal game.

Watched Dune 2 on iMax. Epic film but made the rookie mistake of bringing a large drink inside and sitting bang in the middle of my row of seats. Last time I made that mistake was when I watched Titanic in the cinema and that made for a very painful final 45 mins. At least there was much less gushing icy water in this movie

Just did a gig, 4-7pm, in Kinghorn. Bad decision by the bar owner, as only 20 or so people in the place, but we got paid to rehearse so all good.

Ended up with 12 of us around the dining table.  We all got very pissed and jolly, played some dumb-arse games and around midnight I fell asleep.  My bastard mates placed a guitar in my arms, took photos of me and shared them on a village WA group.  Wretches!

Many years ago, a friend of mine fell asleep in a comfortable armchair at a similar party in his house. We warmed up a pie, nothing super hot, and placed it on his lap. 

A few horus, we checked up on him. It was like john Hurt had fallen asleep there, had some convulsions, and a pie had exploded out of his chest. Pastry and gravy all over him where he'd been slapping this pie in a drunken state but without waking up.
