Back in our teens a group of four or five of us were walking along a SW London street when we came across a guy beating a woman on the opposite side. One of our group immediately crossed the street and shoved the guy away. Next thing, the woman starts laying into our mate with her handbag, telling him to mind his own f#@*%ing business and leave her husband alone.
