Today I tried to be a vegetarian...

So to give it a go I made myself a vegetarian hot dog, surprisingly it tasted like a ketchup and mustard sandwich.




Tomorrow I will try to make a vegetarian steak with pepper corn sauce.

Is that even possible? Surely a BLT without the B is still a decent sarnie? You could add cheese, maybe some ham , and a pickle.

Whats a veg? and , cook? as in make food hot?

Good start rob, you should be slicing the top of bread for a hot dog. Otherwise people will bicker whether its a sub or dog and may end up a closed thread.
Apart from KFC and Pork loins and larmb donners on weekend and evenings, ive pretty much gone vegan during office hours, and only wear my leather shoes in meetings.  At the desk it is slippers made from roadkilled squirrels.
Lunch is usually grass and a pint of bombay mix.  I do have more energy in the afternoon, once the grass has worn off.

It is quite funny but I do wonder if you're actually trying to make a point? 

I'm trying to work out what the equivalent might be, as a vegetarian....  Slaughtering a head of cauliflower?  I'm at a loss.

OMG you are right, I didnt notice that, its a sammy and not a sausage canoe, I await the outrage with bated breath. It would have been onion breath had I not have forgotten the onions.
Damn, this vegetarian thing isnt easy, kudos to those who battled through this and survived, true kitchen warriors they are, fridge ninjas.
