I thought it would take longer than a few months to disintegrate given the size of the thing, but I guess we'll be seeing a fair few more from that part of the world over the coming years.

What are we predicting for Antarctica?  20 years before it's as accessible and affordable as a holiday destination as say Alaska is now?  Greenland as a holiday destination within 10 years?

You can take a Viking Antarctic cruise now.

It's a stone's throw away from Tasmania, which is my bucket list destination. At this rate when I do get to Tasmania there will probably be more frequent excursion packages to antarctica from their southern port....which would be a really depressing state of affairs.
