EZ Drummer and Studio one

Riddle me this.
I start EZD in Studio one. Click on the drums with a mouse I get a sound.
Use my novation keyboard or Yamaha piano. No sound.
Create a new track with another instrument it recognises the keyboard.
Standalone EZ Drummer is fine.

Do the same in Reaper and it works fine.

Doing my head in.

Have you checked the midi input settings in the studio one ezx track? Is the midi channel in the ezx track set correctly?

When you use the keyboard to trigger, does the plugin GUI respond?  If not then it's a MIDI routing issue.

Sometimes drum VSTs use a different / lower octave also

Eventually sorted it out (partially) set the track to listen on OMNI. Now need to work out why it won't listen on the channel I'm assigned the the keyboard.

Yeah...and dont forget to set EZD to Host after you dragged the patterns into S1....
