FS NEW PRICE RARE 1970s IBANEZ CUSTOM AGENT LP, SCROLL HEADSTOCK! £995

Ibanez Custom Agent from the good old late 70s; Please see below for condition.
It has the excellent original Ibanez Super 70s pickups, and lots of mandolin-type ornamentation. Starting from the top, it has a scroll headstock (unbroken) Ibanez higher quality tuners, fancy inlays on the fretboard, set neck, layered "pancake" body with a pressed arched top (looks carved but isn't, a bit like some Gretsch guitars), pearl-esque inlays to the top, a way-out 70s shaped pickguard, original bridge and tailpiece, pots & knobs, all hardware is gold finished and showing some wear.
The great thing is it is all original, in really nice condition, and is an excellent guitar. It plays really well and sounds great, as most old Ibanez guitars do. I believe it is a Fujigen manufactured instrument. Looks like it was played for a year and put away.
There's a knock/ding on the rear edge, signs of player wear etc. and an almost invisible lacquer crack both sides of the treble side tailpiece stud. The arched top is laminated and on a solid base for the t/p studs, so the lacquer crack isn't going anywhere.
Ready to rock! Please study the pics and ask me any questions. It is a rare thing; I worked in an Ibanez dealership from 1977 to 84 and never saw one of these. Stand out from the crowd.
Comes in a Gibson case with one latch broken/not working, otherwise the case is excellent.
I took this guitar as a kind of swap, and although I like it a lot, I don't need it, so it is up for grabs. I'm asking new lower price of £995 including shipping within the UK.

Jeez, I used to have an Antoria branded version of one of these. One of my biggest guitar-selling regrets. Just sayin'.

Prog rocktastic! I expect it’s a bit on the heavy side if memory serves but fantastic piece of kit. Regret short of funds at the moment but have saved the post.

Wow. Intact headstock scroll, full set of star tuners, Sept '77 dated. Grail guitar for someone right there. Ibby collectors would snap your hand off for that.
