Footswitch cable question!

Hi all. Been a while since I've messed with footswitches and cables..

This is a cheap set up for use when I'm staying over my girls flat really.

I have an Orange Crush 20rt coming and It has a foot switchable channel.

Now, I have a Bespecco latching footswitch that I picked up God knows how long ago! Its a Boss fs5l clone.

I presume it will work to switch the channels.

I can't see anything online or on the Orange manual regarding what type of cable I would need for the amps footswitch socket. I'm hoping a standard guitar/instrument cable will work, ie tip and sleeve (TS) only as I'm sure I have one laying about.

But I can't recall if I need a TRS (tip ring sleeve) cable for this? I don't think so as the footswitch only selects between two channels.. but y'know, it's late and my brain left earth.

cheers all :)

A guitar cable will work fine.
