Delay dilemma

I had an el Cap, loved it!
sold it, bought a Timeline loved it!
sold it, bought a Volante loved it!
sold it for smaller footprint and simple options 
Boss DW-2w and now a DD3-t
Recently acquired a Neunaber immerse v2 and instantly got that high quality feel which made me realise how the Boss pedals do the job but don’t inspire me.
So was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for simple quality delay?
 Any thoughts on the Neunaber Echolon?

The mk3 version has a tap switch, similar price point to the Strymon Brigadier though which is one I would like to try

I would try to narrow it down to a certain type. Digital, analogue, tape emulation, etc. And then narrow it down by what features you want, so tap tempo, digital display, reverse, self oscillation etc. There are just so many good ones.

Or just get a DOD Rubberneck which is my favourite.

Providence Chronos. I only sold it as  needed more presets, but it sounds superb.

Saying that I've been using the DD500 for years and love that so we may not be delay compatible!

I've gone through a fair old few and just bought a UA Del-Verb which is incredible sounding. So if you don't need the reverb I'd say the UA Orion delay.

Thinking I would like an onboard tap tempo button, so that narrows it down.
I play in a sloppy Rock covers band with friends and family just for fun and in that scenario the boss is fine but at home I have realised I just love messing.
some good suggestions to look into, cheers

I just picked up a NUX Atlantic Delay/Reverb. It's fantastic for not much outlay. 3 options for delay and tap tempo. Added bonus of a lovely reverb on board as well.

Thanks, it was a good read.
Although the Brigadier is an old unit now, it’s one I’ve never owned, so I felt like it was worth a punt. I have had a couple of hours on it now and love it so far, it is inspiring for sure.
 I guess I’m a Strymon fan .
 I just need to a/b an el cap with the Brigadier

The Boss pedals are bulletproof and reliable at a great price point, but I don’t play out enough to be happy with them, as previously mentioned in the band they are enough but at home I need more features to keep me interested. 

I can do a good price on a DD3-T
