    My Strat has a Callaham trem with a steel block, KTS titanium saddles, a Callaham claw, and a set of Raw Vintage springs.

    It sounds nicer acoustically (compared to many other Stratocasters); you cannot pick it out when I play at band volume through a nice amp.

    Issue with an EQ pedal is that you are modifying after source whereas swapping bridge components actually change the source itself, if you like using a trem then I’d look at a VegaTrem , if not, experiment with blocking the trem as it’s free

    I’ve never been able to get on with them, and for me they don’t do the same thing as changing the inherent sound of the guitar. I find them more useful to alter the sound of an amp or an FX unit.
