New Feline day

What's Hot

Spent a great morning/early afternoon in the Feline sanctuary for wayward guitars. With the flimsy excuse that I will be 65 years old next Wednesday and I got a reasonable bonus from work I brought the Orange double cut home.

Don't touch that dial.

Is that the Lamborghini one? Definitely looks like it.

    Fantastic colour.

Was admiring that when visiting Feline to buy my Blackmachine.

    Congrats. Hope you enjoy it.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

I liked it quite a lot until I saw the carbon fibre; then I really liked it. Modern without being silly.

Thankyou .I was trying to take a classic design and apply the aesthetics of the modern Lambo to it , so black hardware, black inlet grille, carbon fibre parts.
I think it worked quite tastefully in an outlandish kind of way

    I’m mostly a traditional archtop player - but I love this. Really fresh and would look great on a gig.  Congrats @Fez ;

I've realised that I meant "modern but classy". I hope my previous post came across as appreciative!

    Oh - it did .
It has been a favourite of many who have seen it in the shop (many not sure they could be outlandish enough to own it, but certainly appreciative of it). Happy to see it go to a good home

Thanks - but bearing in mind it would be for a Harley Benton LP DC Junior(a wonderful guitar, but it only cost £130), I think I'll just stick with the 3-ply black one.

Took it to rehearsal last night and was able to do everything I needed with just the one pick up.
I did have a moment when I started the slide solo in Tush I went "heck where is everything Oh there it is."

    Don't touch that dial.

Fantastic, I really like that one.  The modernised features are great, a Junior doesn't have to have an un-contoured slab body and a P-90.  And it's still just as stripped-down and simple as any other Jr.

I've long-admired this one.  The colour, the carbon, the simplicity... all work for me.
