Stylus replacement

I wanted to replace the Ortofon om 10 stylus and upgrade it at the same time.  An om 20 would set me back £150 give or take a few. 

I ordered a third party one from ebay which had good reviews for £40 on paper it was a good match to the om20. Nicely packaged and presented but could not get it to play at all well. Sent it back pre-paid and got a full refund, so no problem there.

Did some more research and  "Analogis Black Diamond"  had good reviews, "Needle cut: elliptical, naked," so I ordered one from Mrstylus at just over £40 and was being shipped from Germany. 

What a difference more clarity, better bass, clearer vocals.  

I have played Clapton Unplugged, Ella fitzgerald with Louis Armstrong, Jazz compilation album, and Led Zep 4 will get a few more played this weekend very happy
