I assume this means an updated Timeline is probably also coming?

I think I'll have more fun with the new Thorpy :)

The Meris LVX and Mercury X must have scared the life out of Strymon.

Now when will the Timeline MX and Mobius MX be coming?

I’ve known about this for weeks, but NDA.

EDIT - was missing the 'which meant I had no in-depth specification details.'

I’m kind of wedded to the Mercury X now, and indeed the LVX, but I’d be very interested to see an updated Timeline.

Fair play to Strymon, though: finally a pedal release without all the weeks and months of daft teasers dragging it out.

    Looks amazing doesnt it ?

    Still my fave reverb.

    Very spendy though…

From "huh" to "how much?" to "nah" in seconds.

    Just how I like it.

That does seem to be a great upgrade on the big sky. I tend to find that playing live, a lot of the nuances of reverb are lost in a full band mix. I love my big sky and will probably just stick with that for now. Can’t wait for the Timeline MX though.

  • I’m looking forward to the Mobius MX.  I don’t use reverb that much.

The Holy Spirit appeared in the form of a bank of shimmer presets in order to fill the Apostles with truth and to prepare them to bear witness to Jesus.

I hardly use the BigSky with my guitar, as it is much more than I need on a pedalboard. I tend to use it more with synths in the studio, as it works well on old gear when trying new ideas.

It would be interesting to see how the two compare side by side. When I was sent the release date, they hadn't shared all the details and specifications.

It looks pretty well specified, but way more than I need in hardware these days. I'm more likely to use a software reverb in a DAW when I need these effects in the studio.

However, I can see these being very popular.

    Bloody hell!

I am feeling increasingly old with each pedal release, even when I am aware they are now complex computers in a box.
I just can't get my head around spending that on a pedal. I still wince when I see burgers anywhere near £10!

19" rack mount reverbs in the '80s and '90s could easily be over a grand. This puts it into a square box instead.

That's what I tell myself anyway... LOL

I was just about to buy the Meris X. Seeing this has the ability to load impulses like the Poly Verbs, this has to be the winner.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.
