I have a les paul R8 sounds great...only thing is the pole pieces at the bridge are rusty and the headstock has a 5mm nick out of it beside tuner for high E string. Its from 2013 and has a case. What should i be looking to sell it for? No rush to sell it over cheaply.

    Difficult to answer without photographs.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Search an R8 on eBay and then filter for sold items. That's how I usually gauge market price.

One recently sold for £2799, a 2014 model.

For bursts however, the price will greatly fluctuate based on the desirability of the top - flaming, grain, dye etc.

I'm not in the market for an R8 but those who might be are more likely to be swayed by some good, sharp photographs. As ryanverbena says, punters like to see the figuring in the maple cap before committing to a purchase.

I’ve not seen one as low as £2.5k for a while.

imgur.com, add post, upload.  Grab the link that ends with .jpg (or .png or whatever photo file name you took it as).

Click the black envelope icon above the text box, paste and insert.

You can't "do it here" because the forum do not host your photos, you need to host it somewhere online and get the link for it.
