EB Group Flatwound Stainless Steel strings now available in ShortScale, and a new set for long scale

I love these strings. Nicer under the fingers than La Bella's and a bit more bite to them.

They've now introduced proper shortscale sets in 45-105 and 50-110. I've ordered the 50 set and I can't wait to try them.

They also have a Group 2.5 set long scale with 45-105. Previously it was 40-95, 45-100, 50-105.
I'm now hoping they will do a 40-100. The 40-95 set is very nice, but it needs a slightly heavier E and A. Doesn't need heavier D&G though! Unfortunately there's not many UK places that stock singles.

Anyway - I realise this is only about strings, but I am excited about it!

Nice, I like these strings too and would have bought them when I had a Shorty Ray. About time EB

I just fitted them.

They feel very nice so far. I’ll let the bass settle over night before I start any truss rod tweaks. E and A are perfect. D and G are a bit heavy but I’ll have to get used to them.

45-65-90-110 would feel more even, but I am a picky bastard when it comes to strings.
