...is dumb. Unless you're standing right over it looking down, the Gain knob obscures the view of it.

A bit of a 1st world problem and all, and waving on through the "if you can't tell it's on/off what's wrong with you?" comments but having noticed it, it bugs the crap out of me!

I have a similar problem with my DMM 1100TT, the status LED is sometimes obscured by the Bypass foot switch - my fault though as I put a metal topper on it.
