Two Notes Captor X advice

Hi all
Just received a Captor X 8 ohm so I can use my Hiwatt T40/20 at home with headphones. 
However when using it I cannot seem to get a clean tone. I've tested the amp with the cabinet (as my neighbours can attest to) and it's beautifully clean but when I plug the Captor in on the same settings it's breaking up. 
Any one experienced this?

Ok, turns out IRs, Mic choices and the attenuation all make a difference. Seem to have it sorted now.
