I've decided to sell my 6 string guitars, as I'm only playing 7 string.

My Hofner John Stowell has many scratches in the Shellac finish, so I'm selling it for around £1000.

These guitars were hand built in Germany.

This is an earlier model of the guitar.

The shellac finish on the back of the neck has been removed at some point for ease of playing, like a violin's neck.

The action is set very low, but can easily be increased, if required. Bass is 1.2mm, Treble 0.8mm at the twelve fret.

The frets were upgraded to medium Jumbo stainless steel.

The Nut has been upgraded to a brass nut.

The bridge has been upgraded to a 'made in Japan' Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge.

(The original Hofner bridge is in the case with the truss rod key and authenticity card.)

It's a great sounding, easy to play guitar, at a low price due to the scratches in the finish.
