How can I tell if my Yamaha THR10 is a version one, or version two?
If I hold the tap button while switching on it flashes 104 I'm assuming it means it's running version 1.0.4 which is listed on the Yamaha downloads page as the latest firmware dated 06/03/2014
Below that is the Version two update, dated 24/12/ 2013. So now I'm confused (which isn't difficult), so can anyone enlighten me please.

Thanks, I guess that means you have a version two model, or (like you already stated) you have upgraded to a version two via firmware update. What I don't understand is the latest firmware on the downloads page is v1.0.4
Version numbers are confusing me somewhat. tbh.
I asked Yamaha, and got this reply,
"Thank you for your enquiry regarding THR10 guitar amplifier
V1.04 was applied to THR10 from September 2012 production
This was only added to internet download page on 6/03/2014
V2 firmware was applied to December 2013 production
The starting serial number for V2 is T563914YO
If your serial number is later then it is V2"
Hmm, so if I'm reading this correctly, the latest version of the firmware is the older download on the downloads page.
