This is great for an originals band. Quite often originals bands will rehearse for three years to get things just right - and then break up just before the first gig. You've just saved yourselves three years of noodling around achieving little. Go Gusman

Just keep in mind having fun should be your priority.
Stress normally gets in the way of having fun, so give it two fingers and chill.
As you said, a few bums notes are hardly the end of the world, especially considering some peeps in the audience will not even notice them.

Plenty of fluffs, nothing too major though. Felt really relaxed surprisingly. Got some positive comments from a few people so it's good to know we're on the right track. Obviously we need to develop the songs a lot more (less improv) and get tighter, but we sounded nothing like the rest of the bands on...i think i mean that as a good thing Roll on the next one!
