I will probably regret this, but occasionally I have a pang of guilt about the value of some of the guitars I own and this is one of those moments, so here goes...

Depending on your age and musical background, the name Patrick Eggle may mean different things to you: some might associate it with the company that made the Berlin and Vienna models and was tagged by some as the British PRS, others may be more familiar with the Patrick James Eggle acoustics which give Lowden, Taylor, Santa Cruz and other high end acoustics a run for their money, then there's the era when he worked from the US building the Discus (Zemaitis inspired) and archtop jazz guitars.

However, if you jump back to the late nineties, after Patrick had sold 'Patrick Eggle Guitars', he was working from a shop in St Albans doing repairs and building a few one off guitars. This thinline Tele is one of those one offs....

Built in 1999, this was made as a customer order with top spec everything! Even the pickups are signed by Seymour Duncan (possibly indicating they were hand wound?). I have communicated with Patrick about this guitar and he doesn't remember much about the specifics of the guitar except that he says it has a nitrocellulose finish.

Condition is superb with hardly any marks on it, a great set up and feel and tone to die for.

Obviously, in the light of the above, this isn't a cheap guitar but compared to other bespoke high end makers (Nik Huber, Grosh, Rob Williams et al) I think the price is good:

 £1200 incl Hiscox case and UK delivery - reduced to £1100 plus p&p
